Career focus at STATIM
Supporting your career, not just your shifts
At STATIM, we believe your nursing journey deserves more than shift requests and a uniform - it deserves a partner who supports your growth, wellbeing and purpose. That’s why we’ve built a comprehensive, person-centred model that supports nurses at every stage of their career. Whether you’re exploring the profession, gaining early experience, or preparing to lead — we’re right there with you.
From mentoring and upskilling to networking and leadership development, our commitment is simple: support our nurses so they can thrive, stay, and lead in regional and rural health.
Explore which of these pathways reflects where you're at - and how STATIM can support your next step, no matter your starting point:
SECONDARY STUDENTS
For students who’ve completed a Certificate III or IV in Health Services or Aged Care while at school, STATIM’s Microcredentialing Program offers a structured, supportive entry into the workforce as Assistants in Nursing. By blending on-site clinical exposure, professional mentoring, and access to industry networks, we help students build confidence and competence early with connection to industry.
This pathway isn’t just about a first job — it’s about laying the foundation for a future in regional healthcare. Through this program, students gain real-world experience, explore care environments, and start forming the professional relationships that will carry them into meaningful careers.

NURSING STUDENTS
We partner with students to integrate practical experience into their academic pathways. Through our AIN opportunities across aged care, community and hospital settings, this is a perfect opportunity to grow clinical connections with study, develop relationships and provide a connection to industry. STATIM offers clinical and career mentoring, and with partnerships like UniSQ Nursing Society, students build hands-on confidence, peer connection, and early momentum toward their professional goals.

BEGINNING PRACTITIONERS
The step from graduation to independent practice can shape your confidence for years to come. Our Mentor Accelerated Program (MAP) provides an 8–12 week structured onboarding with guided learning, clinical mentorship, and real pathways to permanent employment. We also offer early-career support through targeted upskilling and transition coaching.

EXPERIENCED CLINICIANS
Even for seasoned nurses, stepping into a new facility, model of care, or region can feel daunting. At STATIM, we don’t expect you to just “slot in and get on with it.” We provide structured support — including supernumerary shifts, dedicated orientation time, and access to our Clinical Operations team — to ensure you feel confident and prepared.
Whether you’re returning to work, exploring new settings, or simply wanting to focus on what you do best without the burnout, we’re here to advocate for you and walk beside you. Our model values your experience — and backs it with meaningful, personal support.
